Beginner's Repair Class - $100.00

This 3 hour class allows for an overview of many aspects of bicycle maintenance.  This is an excellent class for someone with a relatively modern or new bike who wishes to learn about maintenance, knowing when there is a problem, fixing a flat and cleaning your bike.  Class size is limited to 8 people.  Please link here for the class curriculum.

The Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair will be your guide during the course.  You can purchase the book if you like.  Each student will work on their own bike.  Workstands and tools are provided during the classes (not to keep).  Any parts needed are not included as part of the class.  No electric bikes or tri bikes.

Novice Repair Class - $175.00 Plus $27.55 for Park Tool Blue Book

In the Novice Class, you will get an overview of many aspect of bicycle maintenance.  You'll see demonstrations, discuss and perform tire & tube service, brake service and gear adjustments.  The curriculum is similar to a 90 day check up on the bike.  The emphasis is on knowing when there is a problem and on cleaning the bike.  The presentations will often be descriptive.  For example, showing what rear cogs are and how they work is part of the class, but demonstrating or practicing their removal is beyond the scope of this class.  This class runs approx. 7 hours.  Bring your bike to work on.  No electric bikes.
